Solution
Intelligent machines for real environments
We engineer the software intelligence behind automation: perception and vision systems, motion planning, robotic cell control, edge AI and the workflows that connect machines to the business.

Capabilities
The intelligence layer for machines that act
We build the software that lets machines perceive, decide and coordinate — integrated with the hardware and systems already on the floor.
Perception & vision systems
Camera- and sensor-based systems for detection, counting, tracking and quality inspection at the edge.
Motion & path planning
Software for navigating and coordinating machines through constrained, human-shared environments.
Robotic cell software
Control, sequencing and HMI layers around robotic work cells, integrated with line PLCs and MES.
Edge intelligence
On-device inference for low-latency decisions where connectivity, bandwidth or response time rules out the cloud.
Simulation & digital twins
Virtual environments to validate behaviour, tune parameters and de-risk deployments before hardware moves.
Automation workflows
Orchestration that connects machines, operators and business systems into one repeatable process.
Our approach
Simulate, pilot, expand — in that order
Automation earns trust on the floor the same way software earns trust in production: staged, measured and reversible.
Validate virtually first
Behaviour, safety boundaries and parameters are tuned in simulation before hardware ever moves.
Bounded pilots
Deploy in a limited scope with clear safety zones and operator sign-off at every step.
Expand on measured performance
Scale only what the numbers support — never on the strength of a demo.
A note on transparency
Robotics spans a broad set of technologies — perception, motion planning, embedded control, edge AI. We are explicit about what each engagement uses and what has been proven in the field versus engineered for the project at hand.
If you are evaluating automation partners, ask us directly — we would rather earn the project with clarity than win it with ambiguity.
Automation often pairs with connected devices
Machine intelligence and IoT connectivity usually ship together — see how the two practices combine.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Do you build the robots themselves?
We focus on the intelligence and software layers — perception, planning, control software, HMI and integration — typically working with commercial robot platforms, off-the-shelf actuators and your existing line hardware.
Can you work with our existing PLCs and machines?
Yes. Integration with existing line equipment — PLCs, sensors, MES and SCADA systems — is usually the core of the engagement, so new intelligence layers extend rather than replace what works.
How do you de-risk a robotics deployment?
Simulation and staged pilots: we validate behaviour virtually, deploy in a bounded scope with clear safety boundaries, and expand only after measured, operator-verified performance.
Does TMT have commercially deployed robotics products?
Our robotics practice is an engineering capability we apply to client and internal projects. We are transparent about what is a proven product versus an engineered solution for a specific engagement — just ask.
Exploring automation for your operations?
Describe the task, the environment and what exists today — we'll scope a realistic first step.
